Raw Cacao protein balls

Fancy a snack on the go or something to tie you over until dinner time? Well look no further than these delicious Raw Cacao Balls packed with our Life Blend protein powder

Makes 25

Prep time 15mins

Ingredients
  • 175g raw almonds
  • 175g raw walnuts
  • 15 dates, pitted
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao
  • ½ tablespoon natural vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 scoops Life Blend protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon black or white chia seeds
  • ¼-1/2 cup water
  • Raw cacao, desiccated coconut or whizzed nuts for rolling (optional)

Instructions

  • Place nuts, cacao, cinnamon and protein powder into the food processor & blend until the mixture looks crumbly
  • Add in the dates, vanilla extract & chia seeds processing again until the mixture begins to come together
  • If the mixture is not soft enough to form a soft ball, add water slowly and continue the process
  • Once in soft ball form, roll into small balls
  • Coat with optional topping
  • Store in Freezer for up to 4 weeks (although we doubt they will not all be eaten in a few days!)
